"Ammonites" Procedural modelling with golden ratio combined with flocking, procedural animation and instancing. Rendered with Redshift. 5 mins per frame with full volumetrics and SSS enabled. On a single 1080ti.

Pyroclastic Flow, using a custom smoke solver. The focus was on self advecting fluid that does not dissipate. Rendered in Mantra. Multi-layered texture for the rock formations, combined with displacement in x/z componenents for the layered effect.
